What is doTERRA's Loyalty Rewards Program? : The Lightsome Life ...

This is essentially doTERRA?s Customer Appreciation Program.

For those who choose to build the business, this is essential, BUT?for the many others who simply choose to use the product, this is your avenue to accumulate Reward Points (product credit) for your loyalty in purchasing doTERRA products on a monthly basis.

Your rewards will increase on a quarterly basis.? As seen in the image below:

When you enroll as a wholesale member (IPC), you can choose to do so with an Enrollment Kit.? The larger the kit, the higher percentage in Loyalty Reward Points you start out with.

For example, the Diamond Kit ($2295) starts you at 25% Loyalty Reward Percentage and also gives you $400 in product credit to use toward any doTERRA products after being on the Loyalty Rewards Program for 2 months.? This is a way to fast track yourself to the highest percentage return for any of your expenses.

The smallest kit that qualifies you for the Fast Track Program would be the Natural Solutions Kit ($550) or also the Premium Essential Oil Kit ($515).? With these kits you receive 100 Loyalty Reward Points and begin at 15% Loyalty Reward Percentage.

When I started using doTERRA, I began with the Family Physician Kit ($150).? I began at 10% Loyalty Rewards Percentage and it took me a year to get to 30% return.? Knowing what I know now and truly loving ALL the products, I wish I would have started with a higher enrollment kit, but we do what we can, right?

Longtime MMA figure Jeff Blatnick dies

Jeff Blatnick, a longtime figure in MMA as a judge, official and announcer, died after complications from heart surgery at the age of 55.

Blatnick was involved with the UFC from its early days. He was the commentator for UFC 4 through UFC 32, and as UFC commissioner was instrumental in the sport's evolution into the regulated sport we know today. He stuck with the sport as a well-respected judge.

Nick Lembo, the head of the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board, remembered Blatnick as key to the growth of MMA.

"Jeff will always be a crucial part of the formation and growth of MMA. He was a great judge and even refereed here. Far more than that, he was one of the best men I ever was graced with the pleasure of calling my friend," Lembo said to Cagewriter.

"I just spoke to him last week when he was appointed as a judge by the State of Washington Commission to officiate December 8 for the UFC on FOX Show," UFC vice president of regulatory affairs Marc Ratner said via email. "Very sad. He was one of the pioneers of the sport and was there at the very beginning of MMA in 1993. He was involved in formulating the Unified Rules of MMA and was one of the top MMA judges in the world."

UFC president Dana White also remembered Blatnick by tweeting, "RIP Jeff Blatnick."

Before Blatnick started with MMA, he was a highly decorated wrestler. He qualified for the Olympic team in 1980, but didn't compete because of the boycott. In 1982, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. He fought back to make the Olympic team again, and Blatnick won Olympic gold in 1984. Though a return of cancer forced his retirement, he continued to support wrestling as a coach and commentator.

Everything is Connected in "Cloud Atlas" | Triangle Arts and ...

Cloud Atlas

Hollywood films are rarely as ambitious as ?Cloud Atlas,? the collaboration between ?Matrix? directors Lana and Larry Wachowski and ?Run Lola Run? helmer Tom Tykwer. When you?re lucky enough to have Tom Hanks as the lead, however, a movie can be as daring as it wants to be.

The filmmakers, jamming almost every single genre imaginable into one massive film, seem to be trying to say everything possible about life into one movie. It?s no small feat to accomplish, yet the Wachowskis and Tykwer pulled it off, creating the best film any of the trio have made since the ?90s ended.

Based on the 2004 novel by David Mitchell, ?Cloud Atlas? juggles six stories, each set in a different time period, from the nineteenth century, 1970s San Francisco, present day London, a ?Blade Runner? looking New Seoul in the 22nd century, to a post-apocalyptic world where language itself has evolved. All of these segments involve underdogs struggling against a higher power, each connected by actions that ripple across time. ?Atlas? supposes that a killer in one life can become a hero in another, depending on the choices they make. Hanks and the other stars, including Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Sturgess, and Hugo Weaving play characters of different nationalities, races, and in some cases gender. Weaving in particular undergoes the most dramatic of changes, playing a Nurse Ratchett-like overseer of a nursing home and a green-faced Mad Hatter-type entity who acts as the devil on Hanks? shoulder in the post-apocalyptic segment.

At almost three hours, ?Cloud Atlas? requires a little patience, at least at first. The film throws you into the fray, and the result can be a little disorienting at first. ?Atlas? spends a lot of time giving the audience a chance to gather their bearings, but stick with it and you won?t be sorry. Some high-minded films can veer off and become pretentious like ?Tree of Life,? but that?s not the case with ?Atlas.? Yes, the film is bold, high-minded and has some very lofty goals it wants to achieve, but things remain just mainstream enough to keep from turning off most of the audience. The tendency to go mainstream makes ?Atlas? easier to digest, but it also feels like the Wachowskis and Tykwer chose to be safe instead of veering too far into art house territory.

It?s easier to figure out everything going on and how each segment connects with the others as the segments unfold. But it isn?t until the very end that everything truly becomes cohesive, the result of which is a swirling mass of ideas about life, love and consequences.

Everything is connected in ?Cloud Atlas,? and while the times may change, the things that make people good or evil doesn?t. It may take some people a few lifetimes to get it right, but in the end, everyone has a chance at redemption.

Apple slims down iMac, eliminates DVD drive

(AP) ? Apple unveiled a new version of its iMac desktop computer that's one-fifth the thickness of the old model around the edges.

At 5 millimeters around the edges, the new iMac is thinner than most stand-alone computer monitors.

"There is an entire computer in here," Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller said Tuesday as he unveiled the new iMac to a cheering audience.

The new iMac bulges in the back, however. Schiller did not say how much.

The new model achieves its severe thinness in part by eliminating the optical disc drive. Apple has been leaving those drives out of its most recent laptop models as well. The original iMac was one of the first computers to lack a floppy disk drive, something that is now rare among PCs.

An iMac model with a 21.5-inch screen will start shipping in November for $1,299 and up, Schiller said. A 27-inch version will start at $1,799.

Apple also introduced its Fusion Drive, which combines flash and hard drive storage in one interface. In doing so, the hybrid combines the faster speed of flash memory and the higher capacity of regular hard drives. Apple says it's nearly as fast as flash memory on its own and is available as an option instead of the regular hard drive.

As Schiller introduced the new iMacs, he showed on a giant display how the iMac has shrunk over the years.
